After all the dreaming, planning, effort and cost, we’re finally on our way tomorrow.

We’ve spent the last month travelling up to Queensland from Melbourne, visiting family and friends along the way. So we’re well and truly in holiday mode.

So tonight we’re packing the meagre possessions we’ll be carrying with us. It’s a pretty big deal for Norma – 3 1/2 months and everything fits into a 40ltr dry bag. She’s a legend.

But now we’re done

Just hope I haven’t forgotten anything.

We fly out of Brisbane International Airport at 1430 local tomorrow and land at Amsterdam at 0730 local Friday. We’ll spend Friday and Saturday there prior to travelling to Rotterdam Saturday arvo. Sunday doing the sights there.

Monday AM we’re picked up by the shipping agent and taken to where the Stelvio is. How’s that for service and so much appreciated.
